ICAN Jos District Has New Executive Committee
- Holds Investiture/Inauguration Ceremony on June 4

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Jos and District Society now have new leaders to steer the affairs of the institute for the next year.
The new leaders emerged following the outcome of an election conducted by the district.
At the end of the exercise, Mr. Dawuk Walshak Danjuma emerged as the 27th chairman.
Mr. Danjuma will succeed Mr. Pam Musa Chung, FCA, whose tenure expires in June 2026, as the 26th chairman of the district.
Until his election, Mr. Danjuma, a Fellow of the Institute, is the outgoing Vice Chairman of the District and currently the Finance Manager of ECWA Productions Limited.
Mr. Mofobi Tosin Bamidele emerged as the Vice Chairman, while Emadago Sunday was elected the General Secretary.
Abdulazeez Is-shak Olaogun clinched the position of Treasurer, and Mr Silas Dasplang Chinniyang was elected Financial Secretary.
Others who emerged include Mrs. Mariam Justin Davwed to serve as Technical Secretary, while Akinrinlola Ayodeji won the position of Social and Publicity Secretary.
The position of Assistant General Secretary went to Lawal Abdulazeez, while Mrs. Christiana Oluwumi Bawa, Mr. Ramdur P. Ndam, and Chidinma Akinde emerged as ex officio of the district.
Meanwhile, the investiture of the new chairman and the inauguration of the new executive committee will take place on June 4, 2026, at the Headquarters of the Plateau State Internal Revenue Services (PSIRS) in Jos, Plateau State.
The event, which will bring together ICAN members, professional accountants, financial experts, and dignitaries, including government functionaries. It will also feature freewill donations towards the completion of the ICAN Jos and District Society office building.
The Jos ICAN District and Society was established in 1980 under the pioneer leadership of the late Alhaji Rauf Kolawole Adewale, FCA.
