ECWA Development Finance Scheme Ltd, EDFSL, has approved a ₦47.99 million cash dividend for shareholders after the Company posted strong results for the 2025 financial year, despite prevailing economic headwinds.

Shareholders gave approval at the Company’s Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday, 30 June 2026, following the presentation of audited financial statements by Moses Durodola & Co. Board, Management Commended for Growth.

Speaking during the meeting, Board Chairman of EDFSL, Dr. Titus Garba Kassim, said shareholders’ equity participation had been instrumental to the company’s expansion in commercial property development across Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Jos.

He added that the investments have positioned the Company as “an increasingly active player in Nigeria’s real estate investment ecosystem.”

During the meeting, shareholders commended the Board and Management for the performance and urged the Board to strengthen financial resilience to sustain annual dividend payments.

Also speaking, Managing Director of the company, Dr. Solomon I. Edokpa, disclosed that EDFSL has developed three products to support its real estate operations. These, according to him, include ED Homes, which is a personal property acquisition platform; ED Corporate Mortgage, which is for corporate property acquisition; and ED Mutual Fund, which is a collective investment scheme.

He stated that capital preservation and sustainable growth remain central to the products’ management, with subscribers expected to earn competitive monthly returns.

As part of its growth strategy, the Company announced ongoing land offerings at Kodope, located at Kilometre 30 along the Keffi–Abuja Road, and ED Homes Bethel Estate off Zaria Road in Jos.

The AGM reaffirmed EDFSL’s commitment to delivering long-term shareholder value while expanding its footprint in real estate and financial services.
