The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has inaugurated a new National Protocol Committee as part of efforts to enhance efficiency and elevate organizational standards in its official engagements.
The team was inaugurated recently at the CAN National Secretariat in Abuja by the General Secretary of the Association, Apostle Prof. Samson Fatokun, who represented the national leadership.
Speaking during the inauguration, Fatokun said protocol plays a crucial role in maintaining order, decorum and standard operating procedures during high-level ecclesiastical gatherings, diplomatic engagements and national functions.

The CAN scribe noted that protocol is a vital ministry of service that reflects the image of the Church to dignitaries, visiting delegations and the general public.
He presented official letters of appointment and identity cards to the members and charged them to carry out their duties with dedication, integrity and spiritual devotion.
The committee is chaired by the Zonal Secretary of CAN North-Central, Rev. Dr. Simeon Dolly, who is expected to bring structured coordination to the Association’s local and international itineraries.
Other members of the team are Rev. Adams Sabonyaro, Pastor Adeleke J.K., Mrs. Tessy Sule, Mrs. Vera Nwosu and Mr. Benedict Yahaya.
Responding on behalf of the committee, Rev. Dr. Dolly expressed appreciation to the National Executive Council and leadership of CAN for the confidence reposed in them.
He assured that the team is committed to maintaining the highest professional standards, ensuring seamless logistics and safeguarding the dignity of the Secretariat across all events and national engagements.
According to the Association, the inauguration marks another milestone in the current leadership’s drive to institutionalize best operational practices across all directorates, departments and units of CAN.
